Alpari Group does not charge clients with ‘Micro’, ‘Classic’, ‘Spread Betting’ or ‘MT5’ accounts a commission on trades – although swap charges apply to any trades left open overnight, or over the weekend. No fees are charged for deposits, although deposits made by credit card under $3,000 USD  are subject to 1.75% charge. Margins

Alpari requires traders to calculate their own margins, by dividing the units of the base currency by their leverage.

Alpari is an online Forex trading and spread betting broker. Based in the UK, the Group enables retail, professional and institutional investors to trade via a number of online platforms (including MetaTrader).

‘Pro’ account holders can also use Alpari’s in-house platform Alpari Direct, which offers access to live updates from Dow Jones’ news feeds, and the opportunity to use advanced trading technologies. As its name implies, Alpari Direct allows clients to trade on markets directly.

In certain circumstances, Alpari clients can place orders via the broker over the telephone, although telephone trading is subject to a stringent code of practice.

Alpari offers a wide variety of features to traders, and allows clients to trade on a number of different assets under one roof. The Group’s online support and education resources constitute an informative support network for beginners and the experienced alike. With no deposit required for a ‘Mini’ account, Alpari’s doors are very much open to all traders, regardless of their starting capital and level of experience.

Cons

Alpari do not offer clients guaranteed stop losses, meaning there is potentially no limit to a trader’s losses if the market moves against them unless precautions are taken by the trader. ‘Standard’ account holders are not able to directly access the market, and thus have a lesser degree of control over both profits and losses.
